Dumpling Garden currently serves up Chinese and Japanese cuisine from its Saugus and Danvers locations, but it may be spreading the dumpling joy to Somerville as soon as the end of June, the eatery told Daily Voice.
The new location's menu promises to be similar to the other locations, a Dumpling Garden representative told Daily Voice, but will have a few updates.
The Saugus location, on Essex Street, has an extensive list of options. With pages dedicated to both Japanese and Chinese dishes, there is sure to be something for everyone.
The restaurant's namesake comes from the xiaolongbao dumpling, which is more commonly known as a soup dumpling, according to the eatery's website.
Diners can choose from a variety of dumpling fillings, including pork, shrimp, and vegetable options.
Dumpling Garden has plenty of options for guests not in the mood for the restaurant's namesake. Pages of soups, chow mein dishes, fried rice meals, and extensive sushi options will keep any palette excited.
We've gotten take out from here a few times and everything is always so delicious! Can't wait to explore more of the menu!
"The dumplings have all been great," said one Yelp reviewer. "And we've loved the buns too. And the Shanghai noodles are wonderful, we get it every time."
These classics, and some new options, will be available once work is done at 273 Broadway in Somerville.
